As of February 8, 2025, we have not received any official documents from the Indian government, the Chinese government, or the Tibet Tourism Board.
However, discussions regarding the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra are ongoing between both governments.
The updates are positive, and since both governments are in talks after five years, we are hopeful about the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2025.

Our May-June 2018 travel to holy Mount Kailash and Manasarovar Lake with a group of 27 travelers was a great experience with the unparallel support by New Way Tourism ground staff.
