The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a sacred journey to the divine Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar, nestled in the remote Tibetan plateau. Revered by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon followers, this region is considered one of the most spiritually powerful places on Earth. The journey is believed to purify the soul and bring blessings and good fortune to those who undertake it.
Our Charansparsha Package offers a unique 14-day experience, including a special day dedicated to Charansparsha, where pilgrims can physically touch the feet of Mount Kailash. This sacred act symbolizes a direct connection with Lord Shiva’s abode. The parikrama (circumambulation) of Mount Kailash, traditionally completed in three days, is extended to four days in this package, allowing pilgrims more time for spiritual reflection and contemplation.
This journey is conducted by road, with an itinerary that includes visits to ancient monasteries, stunning landscapes, and cultural experiences. Pavitra Kailash Yatra ensures a safe and fulfilling journey with experienced guides, comfortable accommodations, and reliable transportation. This pilgrimage offers not only a chance to witness the majestic beauty of the region but also an opportunity for a profound spiritual transformation. Join us for this unforgettable journey and deepen your connection with the divine.

After breakfast, we will drive to Saga (169km-5hrs) and see the beautiful sights of old monasteries, a stunning waterfall, a flowing river, and dense alpine forests. We’ll also catch a glimpse of the Holy River Brahmaputra as we pass through Ghungtang-La (5236M) on our way there.
After breakfast, we will drive to the sacred Holy Lake Manasarovar.
Today is a very special day for all of us as we will get the first glimpse of the holy lake and the magnificent view of Mount Kailash from Horchu. After completing the local immigration, we will continue our drive and complete the Lake Manasarovar Parikrama by vehicle. On the way, we will find a beautiful spot to take a memorable group picture of Kailash, Manasarovar, and Rakshasa Lake.
This is the moment we have all been eagerly waiting for, and the breathtaking view of Manasarovar and the magnificent galaxy is something that will create amazing memories for us to cherish for a lifetime.
Today is a very special day for all the Yatries as they will have the opportunity to be in the abode of God itself, which is a lifetime achievement. The day will start with a bath at the banks of the Holy Lake Mansarovar, followed by Puja, Havana, Meditation, and other spiritual activities. After completing these activities, we will have lunch and then drive to Darchen.
After breakfast, you’ll have a short drive to Yama Dwar, which marks the starting point for Kailash Parikrama. At Diraphuk, you’ll be able to witness the North face of Mt. Kailash. Don’t miss the chance to catch the first rays of the Sun on the Golden Mt. Kailash early in the morning, a spectacular sight and a visual treat for all.
For those not participating in the Parikrama, there will be a chance to have Darshana at Yamadwar before returning to Darchen and waiting for the Parikrama Yatries to return.
Get yourself ready to witness the breathtaking and divine golden view of Mount Kailash. After a hearty breakfast, we will start our trek to Charansparsha, located approximately 3 kilometers from our stay at Diraphuk. The journey will take around 4-5 hours to complete, depending on your physical fitness. The experience is sure to leave you with a profound sense of peace and connection to this holy land.
The 2nd day of Parikrama is the journey’s most challenging but rewarding experience.
After a light breakfast, we’ll trek from Diraphuk to Dolma La pass, which is at an altitude of 5620m, and then down to the flat valley via Gaurikunda. It takes around 3-4 hours to reach Zuthulphuk from there. This is the day when every pilgrim talks about the most difficult part of the journey. Even those who hired horses will have to climb steeply up to Dolma La pass and then descend towards Gaurikunda.
But once this toughest part is completed, you can relax at local tea stalls and enjoy a hot cup of tea or noodles before continuing towards Zuthulphuk.
Today marks the end of the Kailash Parikrama trek, and after a short 2-hour walk, we will reach the end point where our bus will be waiting for us. From there, we will drive back to Darchen and reunite with the rest of our group members who have been waiting for us. After a fulfilling breakfast, we will then proceed with our journey and drive to Saga. It’s been an incredible journey, and we have all made memories that will last a lifetime.
After breakfast drive back to Kyirong.
