We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We, the Pavitra Kailash Yatra team, understand the deep spiritual significance that the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra holds for each of you. We write to you today with an update regarding the pilgrimage for the year 2024.
As many of you may be aware, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra has been temporarily closed for Indian pilgrims from 2020 to 2023 due to various reasons, primarily the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent travel restrictions. Despite the challenges, we have been closely monitoring the situation and working in coordination with the Government of India to facilitate this sacred journey for all devotees.
In 2023, while Kailash was open for pilgrimage, the issuance of single visas by China for Indian pilgrims posed a significant obstacle, leading to the unavailability of access to the sacred sites for our devotees.
We are pleased to inform you that discussions and negotiations between the governments of India and China are ongoing, and we remain hopeful for a positive outcome. However, as of now, we have not received confirmation regarding the opening of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra for Indian pilgrims in 2024.
On behalf of the Pavitra Kailash Yatra team, we urge all prospective pilgrims to exercise patience and refrain from making any travel arrangements until an official notification is issued by the Government of India. Your safety and well-being are our utmost priority, and we are committed to ensuring a seamless and spiritually fulfilling experience for all participants.

Our May-June 2018 travel to holy Mount Kailash and Manasarovar Lake with a group of 27 travelers was a great experience with the unparallel support by New Way Tourism ground staff.
